Granada: Generalife Palace

Across the small valley/ moat from Alhambra is the Generalife Gardens. The structure part of the gardens is only accessible one time per normal admission ticket, however the gardens leading up to it are accessible all day. I ended up going twice.

I went through the man gates to the Alhambra around two and it seemed like more people were going towards the castle portion so I decided to see the Generalife Gardens. unfortunately were just as crowded, making it difficult to wander around taking photos without getting in someone else's future Facebook profile picture.

Later in the day when the crowds had died down and the sun had come out I was able to get some great photographs and take in the wonderful gardens in more peace.

I especially liked how the sun was effecting the shadows of my pictures.

I ended up not being able to go in the garden house of the Generalife because I spent to much time in garden but I think it was well worth the sunlight and great view.
